Medicare Enrollment

PECOS is the online resource to enroll and update a provider's Medicare information.  By applying online a provider can frequently speed the processing of the application.  For more information on using the PECOS website and instructions on using the system visit CMS.

In September, 2010 Medicare issued an Enrollment Quick Reference Guide, to help providers enroll in the Medicare program.  This is an invaluable resource to guide new providers.

CAQH - Universal Provider Datasource

CAQH's universal credentialling application is accepted by many third party administrators including Aetna, BeechStreet, Blue Cross, Cigna and United Healthcare.  Check the participating organization list to see if CAQH may  simplify your credentialling process.  Always follow up with local reps after completing the online application.
